C.O.I.M. S.p.a., a multinational company that has been developing and manufacturing specialty chemicals since 1962, and a leader in the production of polyesters, polyols, polyurethanes, and specialty resins for the manufacturing of composite materials and coatings, announces the appointment of Gabriele Malcangio as its new General Manager.
With over twenty years of experience, much of which has been spent in the chemical sector, Malcangio brings to COIM a solid managerial background and in-depth knowledge of global markets. He began his career at Oxido, an Italian company in the organic peroxides sector, specializing in production for the rubber and plastics industry, where he held key roles in areas such as Human Resources, Health, Safety, and Plant Management, overseeing major site expansions and regulatory compliance in a complex industrial environment. He then joined Arkema, where he progressed from Sales Manager to Business Manager, and ultimately to Commercial Director, driving growth in Spain, Portugal, Africa, and Latin America. Over the past seven years, he has worked in Dubai, strengthening Arkema's presence in the Middle East and gaining solid expertise in managing multicultural teams and defining international expansion strategies.
With this appointment, the COIM Group reaffirms its commitment to consolidating its leadership in the sector while continuing to expand in global markets, relying on the proven experience of the new General Manager.
